Day 1: Arriva in Bamako. Pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Bamako-Ségou-Djenné.

Day 3: Djenné (city tour, visit to the market and the mosque, one of the most famous in Mali) - Mopti.

Days 4-5-6: Canoe trip up the River Niger to Lake Debo and back. Visist to Bozo fishing villages, look out for hippopotamus and migrating birds.

Days 7-8-9-10-11-12-13: Trekking or rambling in the Dogon Country.

Day 14: Dogon Country-Bamako.

Day 15: City tour in the capital Bamako (National Museum, market, high part of the city (panoramic views). At night, transfer to the airport.

* For those who travel to Mopti for 2 weeks there is the option of spending longer in the Dogon Country and on the Riever Niger and finishing up with a visit to Hombori and Douentza before the home flight from Mopti.
